Valentine dates need a nice love "spirit" and here are some "spirits" that will make your date a lot happier. We found some nice Valentine drink recipes & foods that we tried and loved. They will truly put some spice &"hot" ice in your party.
We especially liked the Oyster and Scallop Tartare with Ginger Dressing.It is veeerrry good. Remember we told you about oysters,a widely known aphrodisiac,in Date Delight-Food bites well these oysters get a little action courtesy of ginger and champagne(vinaigrette).

Here's 12 aphrodisiac -filled recipes(some with chocolate or strawberries) sure to make your whole year happy(12 months)or since Valentines Day is approaching,try a few as a toast.
1. El Chupacabra Martini: Sure, cocktails are a surefire way to kick off a romantic evening in with a little style, but add in fiery blood orange and Brazilian acai, and your Valentine won't know what him 'em. (Recipe and photo: Muy Bueno Cookbook. Aphrodisiacs: blood orange + acai.)
El Chupacabra Martini will set your honey’s heart afire. The fiery red blood O.J.juice infused with the explosive Brazilian aphrodisiac of acai is sure to make sparks fly.

Hints of guava and pineapple nectar in this drink are fruits from Puerto Rico. This sensuous drink with a beautiful mix of juices is perfect for Valentine’s Day or any romantic occasion.

You can barely taste the coconut rum in this sweet drink, which makes it extra dangerous, just like its namesake.Makes: 2 drinks
Ingredients
4 blood oranges, freshly squeezed or 1-cup juice
4 ounces coconut rum
2 ounces açaí juice
1 ounce guava nectar (recommend Jumex)
1 ounce pineapple nectar (recommend Jumex)
1 cup crushed ice
1 blood orange, sliced
1 star fruit, sliced
Directions
Combine all ingredients with ice and shake until blended and pour strained mix into a martini glass.
Garnish with a blood orange slice or a star fruit slice.
2. Watermelon Ginger Punch: Or if you're having a daytime rendezvous in a warm climate, whip up a batch of this refreshing summertime punch. Wax poetic over summers spent at the beach, and add in a little vodka and mint as the sun sets. (Recipe and photo: Expat Recipe. Aphrodisiacs: watermelon, ginger + optional mint.)
Ingredients
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1 tablespoons Ginger chopped
4 cups Watermelon cubed
1/2 cup Lime juice freshly squeezed
Ice Cubes as needed
Method
Place water and sugar in a sauce pot and bring to low simmer to dissolve sugar. Set aside.
Put watermelon and ginger in a blender; process until smooth. Strain through a sieve into a pitcher.
Add sugar water. Stir in lime juice. Pour over fresh ice and serve.
3. Caramelized Vanilla Almonds: A lovely thing to make ahead of time, these sweet treats are perfect for snacking on before heading out on the town. 4. Strawberry Watermelon and Basil Summer Salad: Another recipe reminiscent of summer, this starter is perfect for an unseasonably warm February day (of which we've been having a lot of).
